Churches of Christ’s Victorian aged care nurses and personal care workers have waited four years to have a new enterprise agreement with improved wages, entitlements and working conditions. Churches of Christ continues to stall and delay.

Enough is enough. We love caring for our residents, but Churches of Christ is taking our love for our work for granted.

Please sign this ANMF (Vic Branch) petition calling on Churches of Christ to demonstrate it values the work of its nurses and personal care workers and the residents in their care by urgently improving working conditions and wages.

Churches of Christ's Victorian aged care nurses and personal care workers have waited four years to have a new enterprise agreement with improved wages, entitlements and working conditions.

Churches of Christ promotes its values of unconditional love, continual innovation, mutual trust, wise stewardship and safety.

As one of Australia’s largest not-for-profit service providers Churches of Christ also promotes itself as an employer that has a ‘work culture that values you’.

Yet, Churches of Christ management continues to stall and refuse to negotiate a new agreement for wages, entitlements and working conditions for its Victorian nursing and personal carer workforce.

Our enterprise agreement expired in 2020 and our wages and working conditions are falling behind the Victorian industry standard.

Now we know Churches of Christ is selling its two Victorian facilities. Without an up-to-date enterprise agreement employees transferring to the new owner will have no security of wages of conditions under the new owner.

Nurses and carers love caring for residents of Churches of Christ Oak Towers Aged Care in Oakleigh and Churches of Christ Arcadia Aged Care in Essendon.

Churches of Christ is taking our love for our work for granted.

ANMF’s petition calls on Churches of Christ to demonstrate it values the work of its nurses and personal carer workers and the residents in their care by urgently improving working conditions and wages.
